Gurukul

Offer spiritual education and real-world guidance to children who need more than just a classroom.

About the Project

Das Dharam Gurukul was launched during the 2020 lockdown to support children from underserved backgrounds, especially those attending government schools, with no access to extracurricular learning, mentoring or spiritual guidance. Unlike a formal school, Gurukul is a values-driven programme rooted in seva, discipline and community learning.

Children who attend Gurukul take part in structured activities that build self-worth and social awareness. These include sewa-led projects like food drives, plantation efforts, cleanliness campaigns and national exposure tours, including participation in the Prime Minister’s Clean India Abhiyan. Alongside these experiences, they also receive mentoring in meditation, Bhartiya Sanskaras and basic academic support to help them grow with clarity and confidence.

Gurukul helps children to believe in themselves as future changemakers, shaped by service, discipline and spiritual strength.
