Frequently Asked Questions
What are Satsangs and Kirtan programmes?
Satsangs are spiritual gatherings that offer guided talks, reflection and collective wisdom to help calm the mind and deepen understanding. These programmes include Kirtan (healing music) which involve uplifting, mantra-based music that creates a peaceful and meditative experience.
Are these programmes religious?
While Sachkhand Nanak Dham is an interfaith organisation, our programmes are open to everyone: whether you believe in a higher power, follow a faith or simply want to feel connected to the universe.
How should I dress?
Everyone is asked to dress modestly with their shoulders and legs covered, out of respect for the space and the community (sangat). Comfortable clothing is welcome and head coverings (a scarf or bandana) are required. We’re happy to provide these for you!
